Summery:

Over ** years experience in the electronics industry in a variety of disciplines. For the passed 15 years I have worked in the biomedical field building, testing, and troubleshooting both analog and digital implant and external including microcomputer and radio systems. In the past I have worked on radar, navigation, crypto, servo systems, and laser optical control systems. I have worked with Vacuum Tubes, semiconductors, microcontrollers, ASICs, and FPGAs. I am skilled with all standard test equipment meters, oscilloscopes, power supplies and dynamic signal analyzers. I have advanced solder skills and can solder very high pitch VLSIC SMT chips, breadboard new circuit designs, perform repairs to the component level, use Linux, Mac, Windows, office, and specialized test programs. I have designed test fixtures and basic circuits.

Associate Engineer / Engineering Technician

Assembled, tested and repaired micro-miniature circuits and mechanical assemblies under a microscope. Designed and built electronic fixtures using op-amps, transistors, LEDs, and passive components. Wrote procedures and test travelers to satisfy FDA standards. Prepared cross sectional samples of metals and ceramics for microscopic analysis. Worked with medical grade epoxies, silicons, and metals for human implantable device. Skilled with microscopes, computers, and various lab equipment.

2000-2004 California Technical Institute, LIGO Project contracted under Triad Project Management, Pasadena, CA

Sr. Engineering Technician

Assembled, tested, evaluated and repaired prototype assemblies for the National Science Foundation’s LASER Interferometer Gravity Wave Observatories (LIGO). Working on optical servo control and photo detection electronics systems primarily consisting of SMT op-amp filter configurations and digital circuits. I designed test rigs, wrote test procedures and helped maintain computers in our work group.
