AUTOMATIC TYRE INFLATION SYSTEM

Abstract: This project will discuss the design and construction of a system that makes pressure adjustments to the tyre separately through the use of a user control interface. The system consists of a centralized air compressor, a reservoir storage tank and solenoid valves to control the direction of air flow.

NUMERICAL ANALYSIS OF THE CONVECTIVE HEAT TRANSFER COEFFICIENT THROUGH AN ANODIZED TUBE UNDER TURBULENT FLOW

Abstract: The effect of Reynolds number, Heat Flux, Porosity, heat transfer coefficient for a fluid flowing through an anodized tube, is studied for various values for turbulent flow with the help of CFD. It was found that Heat transfer characteristics increases with increase in these parameters. Scope: This can used to design heat exchanger having maximum heat transfer coefficient.

HYDRODYNAMIC ANALYSIS OF TURBINE BLADE SUITABLE FOR 5 KW GENERATION Abstract: This project will discuss the effect of number of blades, chord length with different free stream velocity on the coefficient of lift and coefficient of drag. Scope: performance characteristic of turbine can be studied, hence more efficient turbine blade can be designed.

DESIGN AND DEVELOPMENT OF LOW SPEED VERTICAL WIND TUNNEL FOR DRAG FORCE MEASUREMENT OF LESS WEIGHT OBJECTS(ONGOING PROJECT)(IIT PALAKKAD) Abstract: Designing a comparatively low cost and a table top vertical wind tunnel which can be used for the drag force measurement of less weight objects. Basics of wind tunnel designing can be understand by this project.

Scope: It can be used to calibrate devices. Drag force measurement can be done for a less weight object.

o Familiarizing Key Performance Parameters to concerned dealership personnels that ensures the efficiency of a delaership.

o Monitoring the Key Performance Index of the N-1th day,that includes the rate of Express Maintance conversion,Express Maintance delivery rate,On Time Delivery,Same Day Delivery,Repeat Repair Rate.

o Analysing the root cause of parameters which is below the targeted rate and implementing a countermeasure to arrest the same which will be the conclusion of a discussion which includes customer service Manager,Front Office Team leader,Service Advisors,Job Controller and all other concerned personnels.

o Ensuring the Job Controller inspects the Job Order Quality and press Quality Gate 1 Pass stamp on Repair Order.

o Gurantee the presence of Quality Gate 2 pass stamp after fixing all the concerns from the technical side.

o Monitors the washing quality is upto the mark by checking visualized Quality Gate 3 records updated by Washing Inspector.

o Visualizing and monitoring of Quality Gates that helps to deliver the vehicle to customer upto the customer’s expectation.

o Observing the flaws in Quality Gates from the visualization and taking remedial measures to detain the same within targeted days.

o Auditing all the processes are carried out as per Go Head Instructions and Standard Operating Procedures forwarded by regional office.
