ECIL’s prime objective is supporting the Nuclear Power Programme in India. It was established in 1967 as an offshoot of Bhabha Atomic Research Center (BARC) under the Department of Atomic Energy (DAE). It has evolved into a multi-product and multi-disciplinary organization continuously developing in multiple technologies, catering to the exacting requirements of highly diversified clientele in Defense, Security, Civil, Aviation, and other sectors of strategic importance in addition to Atomic Energy sector.
