Homewood Suites by Hilton Seattle Downtown (August 2016-Present)

Sales Coordinator, Night Audit, Front Desk, & Housekeeping

Responsible for coordination of company marketing, social media, sales and strategy execution. Developed and implemented strategic sales plans which would include value selling, incentives, and sales promotions. Cultivated strong relationships with various clients and vendors which secured repeat business. Would assist the Director of Sales by creating needed reservations, filing important documents and communicating relevant information. When necessary responds to complaints from customers and give after-sales support when requested. Has knowledge in OnQ, STS, Salesforce/Delphi and OnQ R&I. Has extensive understanding in reading necessary accounting reports.

Boston’s Restaurant and Sports Bar (November 2014-June 2015)

Server

Greet and interact with guests while also providing a welcoming and wonderful experience. Take drink and food orders. Ensure that everything is to their liking. Help around the restaurant itself by restocking ice, wiping down dirty table surfaces, and vacuuming floors.

Columbia Winery (March 2014-June 2015)

Wine Educator/Server

Greet guests with a smile when they walk in. Explain to guests our tasting options, provide them with the wine they chose from the tasting they selected and educate customers about selected wine. Briefly inform them about the history of Washington wines as well as answer whatever questions the customer may have about the wine or the establishment itself. Sell whatever bottle or merchandise the customer may want. Use POS system to ring up customer. Serve food when needed. Clean tasting room throughout the day. Wash glasses and restock empty merchandise as well as wine bottles.

Mountain Winery (July 2013-February 2014)

Suite Attendant, Food Runner, Banquet Server

During the concert season some clients would rent out selective suites to watch them. As a suite attendant I would serve food and wine. Set chafing dishes. Ensure everything was up to clients’ standards. After concert was over I would clean the suite. As a food runner in either of our two restaurants I would set up restaurant by polishing glassware as well as dishware and placing table clothes on tables. As guest would arrive I would hand out water and bread baskets. Throughout the night I would deliver food to clients and clear the table after guest was finished with their meal. It should be noted that some of these treys filled with dirty dishes could weight 25-50lbs. As a banquet server I would set up for event, serve beverages as well as some appetizers.

Toll House Hotel (January 2013-February 2014)

Hostess/Busser

As a hostess would greet and seat guests. Often opened the restaurant at 6:30am. Was expected to answer phone calls to either make a reservation or write down room service orders. Worked a small bistro which served coffee and pastries. Would also walk around the hotel and pick up dirty treys from room service. As a busser would serve water, remove dirty dishes from table, and clean table once party had left.
