o My works and involvements are in a wide range of various sectors and their Industrial plants such as listed here Al-Oula Steel Manufacturing Company, Al-Oula Steel Rolling Mill (Under Erection) and Kuwait Ferro Alloys to procure the materials and services based on plant demands.
o My duty as being a Procurement Manager is to carry out market analysis to get the best purchasing deals. This involves acquiring goods and services at favourable prices. Performing this role by comparing prices of goods from different suppliers, analyzing sales patterns and inventory levels of existing stock, and staying up-to-date on market changes that can affect the supply and prices of goods.

Job Description:
o Some of the main duties of being a supervisor procurement and logistics were include, floating enquiries, getting technical approvals, negotiating for price, making commercial price comparison, and issuing purchase orders as per technical quotation approved by the end user or department head.
o Responding to end users inquiries, reviewing requisition orders to verify accuracy, specifications and terminology, and comparing prices, specifications and delivery dates to determine the best bid among potential suppliers.
o Also prepare, maintain and review purchasing files. Report price lists, track the status of requisitions, contracts and orders, approve bills for payment, monitor contractor performance, calculate the cost of orders, charge or forward invoices to the appropriate accounts, and monitor in-house inventory transfer forms for bookkeeping records o Responsible for working closely with the selected supplier and managing the company’s procurement activities.
o My role is also involved to arrange the cargo movements from various countries to destination as per the purchasing incoterms. In this role I have to involve in all modes of transportation including air, sea, road and rail freight etc.
