During my time here, I was introduced to an industrial work environment. I was certified to use both a JLG articulating boom lift and scissor lift. I have a lot of hours spent in a lift working on electrical systems.

Most of the work at these two companies was on the residential side. I learned how to fish Romex through existing walls to add or repair electrical devices and lighting. I also worked on a lot of 200amp service upgrades.

For the duration of the time spent here I was stationed at the new Defiance high school project. My job duties where to install the appropriate conduit for the normal and emergency lighting, power, and fire system circuits.

At this company I ran a crew of new apprentices to rough-in new construction homes to code.

I currently work as a service electrician for commercial and industrial facilities throughout Ohio and Michigan, troubleshooting bad motors and controls, lighting and power circuits.

During my time at Penta vocational high school I studied the basics of the electrical trade. In my classes we learned about the principles of AC and DC current, how to use the NEC code book, single phase and 3-phase electrical systems, blueprint reading, conduit bending, motor controls, and how to completely wire a house from start to finish. In addition to my class work I completed the osha 10 hour training.
