PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE

Trinity Industries - Dallas, TX April 2019 to Dec 2019 Technical Delivery Manager

● Trinity industries has embarked on creating state of the art, customer facing, leasing management solution. This solution is built on SalesForce community. On this system Trinity’s partners/Repair shops and customers can login to this newly designed system, see their rail cars repairs and reports, approve the transactions, review bills etc.

● As, Technical Project manager/Scrum Master leading the interface development, I was responsible for leading a team of Business analysts, developers and QA engineers. The interfaces were real-time, batch and one time data loads. My team needed to understand the Salesforce objects and data models and how to map this to Legacy data structures. The project was delivered as planned in November. Used Scaled Agile methodology to run the project. Represented my team in Scrum of scrums. Worked closely with Senior Scrum Masters

(RTE).

● My team was responsible for overall QA of the product, including Salesforce, Services and legacy systems. The testing scenarios, test cases and defects were recorded in JIRA.

● With Unique software, my team was responsible for building a capacity engine for a major transportation company. The project required building UI using Angular, backend services using Java, Machine Learning algorithms on Hadoop, Spark, Python, R and other Big Data technologies.

● With Thoughtspot’s professional services group, my team was tasked with implementing multiple projects focused on Big data. Implemented ThoughtSpot big data product at multiple customers – Bristol Myer Squibb, OceanFirst Bank, George Washington university. Each of the customers had from gigabytes to terabytes of data to be analyzed.

● With Southwest Airlines, Played the role of Senior Project Manager / Scrum Master in the Enterprise Architecture group. Helped the team in Scrum adoption. ● As a Senior Project Manager / Scrum Master for Online Trading group, I was in charge of the Maintenance team. The annual budget of the team was 2.4 million. My team was tasked with maintaining the front end of trading platform www.fidelity.com, and communicating with the Enterprise application Integration layer. Architecturally this platform is highly-concurrent, scalable, flexible and upgradeable. This platform handles 2Million financial transactions a day. My team was responsible for web based application stack. The application technologies used include Java, J2EE, Angular, JavaScript etc. The server side stack consists of Linux based servers and application servers. Led quite a few mission critical projects to enhance the function of this platform. The work included upgrading the web services, UI changes, upgrading the servers and adding checks to enhance security. The platform supported multiple mobile devices including iPad and Android devices.

● The frequency of deployment for this Web/Java based e-commerce platform was on a 3 week basis.

● Converted the waterfall Model of executing projects, to Scrum model. As a scrum master I was responsible for Sprint planning, daily stand up, Sprint review, Sprint retrospective, maintaining the story backlog and other agile activities. Eventually, we started adopting Scaled agile. I represented my team in Scrum of scrums.
