Re: Elizabeth Cooper

Dear Sir/Madam:

I am pleased to write a recommendation for Liz. She has functioned as my secretary/paralegal for just under a year. I arranged for her assignment to me, after watching her work for some of my fellow attorneys here, and following a disappointing performance by my then-assistant.

Our relationship has worked well. Office organization is not my greatest strength and, on her own initiative, she undertook to - and did - improve the appearance of my office and its operation. I was thoroughly pleased; after all, if her efforts had proved ineffective, she might risk "blame" in a situation where she voluntarily assumed the responsibility to tackle the problem.

She has turned out good work-product and consistently maintained good communication. On many occasions, she has contacted or prompted me a second or third time regarding matters in which she is involved, well before I would have gotten back to her. She does not merely assume "the ball is in my court" but instead cheerfully recognizes that my schedule or workload may slow my response, and she is attentive to assuring nothing "falls between the cracks." Liz is currently still employed here, but due to some unexpected events, we must downsize.

Please let me know if you have any questions or if I may assist you further. Sincerely,

Re: Elizabeth Cooper

Liz Cooper was my secretary at Donahue, Nelson & Cohen, LLC from June 4, 2007 to October 2, 2008. Unfortunately, as the result of the loss of a partner, and through no fault of her own, the firm decided to end its employment of Liz. Liz is dedicated, dependable and thoroughly cooperative. She blended well with other staff members and was always willing to help others. She will be an asset to any lawyer or firm who hires or employs her.

Re: Elizabeth Cooper

Elizabeth Cooper was employed as a legal secretary at my firm from June 4, 2007 to October 2, 2008. Unfortunately, due to the departure of one of the partners from the firm, we were forced to lay her off due to lack of work. Although Ms. Cooper was assigned to other attorneys in the firm, on occasion she would perform overflow work for me. I found her to be a competent and conscientious employee. I was especially impressed with her attitude and sunny disposition. My office was close enough to her desk that I had the opportunity to overhear her speaking with clients on the telephone and I was impressed with her professionalism. I would not hesitate to recommend Ms. Cooper for employment.

Re: Elizabeth Cooper

Liz has asked me to construct a reference letter for her and I am happy to do so. Our firm hired Liz on an hourly basis as a support paralegal for our full-time commercial real estate paralegal. During the time she has been here, she brought current our backlog of title policies, binders, recorded document filing and closed file processing. She also assisted our paralegal in preparation of commitments, preclosing and postclosing. Our support need has been completed and I believe Liz would be an asset to any firm - she gets an "A+" from us.

Should you need any more information from me, please contact me. GANDY & RICE, P.C.

To Whom It May Concern:

It is my pleasure to give this letter of recommendation for Liz Cooper. Liz came to work for our firm as a contract employee on January 23, 2006 to help us at a time when an employee was out on maternity leave. Liz came on board with two significant handicaps not of her making; she did not have enough experience in our field, commercial real estate transactions, and by reason of our work load we were not able to give her the training she needed. Nonetheless, she cheerfully undertook all tasks assigned to her, was not reluctant to ask the necessary questions, and diligently completed everything we asked of her. Had she the experience we needed or had we the time to give her proper training and instruction; we would be encouraging Liz to stay here.

In summary, Liz did a very good job under difficult circumstances. We appreciate her and I recommend her to you.
