Project- RyderGyde- Mobile/Web August 2017 – Current

Ryder designed this project to create a more robust fleet mobile app aimed at fleet managers and drivers. The main goal of this app is to further enhance our value proposition and create a superior customer and driver experience through mobile technology. Project- Revenue Recognition March 2017- August 2017

Revenue Recognition project is to implement all US and international system and business process changes needed to be compliant with the FASB issued Accounting Standards Update (ASU) No. 2014-09 by January 1, 2018. The new revenue recognition standard affects all entities - public, private, and not-for-profit that have contracts with customers. The new standard eliminates the transaction and industry specific revenue recognition guidance under current Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP), and replaces it with a principle based approach for determining revenue recognition. The new application is based on APPIAN which has all configurations where user can download to see the amounts. User can also modify and upload the configuration into that application.

Created and executed test cases utilizing HP Quality Center to verify application specifications are met by analyzing expected input/output results.

Organized and requested test data utilizing MS Excel to create specialized accounts to validate the features and maximize test functionality.

This Project was designed to migrate the previous application (SMO) to new application (APPIAN). Previous application was based on the legacy PO process which is part of the AS 400 based SMO application that runs on COBOL code. It suffers drawbacks in terms of user mobility and enhancement restrictions due to legacy technology limitations. The new application is based on APPIAN which is more users friendly and it has different option to create Purchase Orders.
