Request and approve process, procurement management, life cycle management, redeployment and disposal management. Responsible for capturing the financial information about the software life cycle. Manage and optimize the purchase, deployment, maintenance, utilization, and disposal of software applications within an organization. Management of the physical components of computers and computer networks, from acquisition through disposal. Gather detailed hardware and software inventory information used to make decisions about hardware and software purchases and redistribution. Participation in customer communications across the entire life cycle of a SAM project, which includes producing and presenting intermediate, analytical, end results and assuring projects are conducted and closed to the satisfaction of all parties. Create and update software counters for software titles and licenses. Provide expertise in ensuring that software license contracts and agreements, software licenses, software installations and associated linkages are reflected correctly in the ITAM / Software Asset Management platform repository. Provide expertise to ensure that software license records are linked to the correct hardware device. Support analysis of new or modified software agreement, maintenance contracts and identify impact to software counters. Review software compliance measures based on existing licensing agreements. Understand current utilization and installation of licenses based on RTU focus. Work with Software vendors to renew and true up existing licensing contracts. Work with the Legal Department and Contracts to ensure pricing/costing analysis meet both operational and budget requirements. Initiate contracts and agreements for the technology owners. Perform Vendor Management to ensure our vendors meet contract agreement SLAs and corporate T&Cs.
