• After repatriating from Belgium, assigned to manage the financial aspects of shutting down a GTA facility. Provided regular month-end reporting, set up and wind down of provisions, and communicated with anxious suppliers. Negotiated to save thousands of dollars on various lease terminations. Controller, Belplas Industries NV (Belgium), (2000 to 2004) a manufacturer of bumper systems, with 400 employees at two facilities; sales of in excess of EUR 100MM.

• Successfully defended plant in customer tooling audit avoiding any potential givebacks

• Developed cost minimizing approaches to dealing with customer price givebacks
