SPIRE INVESTMENT PARTNERS RESTON, VA 2019 – PRESENT

Operations Associate

At Spire Investment Partners I work to make sure we provide regulatory oversight to our advisors that we manage, including risk assessment of portfolio trading and pulling reports of money movements. I am tasked with creating workflow diagrams to capture the most efficient ways to provide streamlined operations support. Spire uses a service center system call Zendesk, similar to Salesforce, and I am tasked with building Macros in our Zendesk system to develop key performance indicators and forecast models of work performance and key metrics for problem resolution. In this Zendesk system we have been able to effectively build a resource center for all knowledge articles and a platform for referencing all this key information to perform daily tasks that can be utilized by the field offices. In this we can observe the times that we have anticipated service needs and prepare accordingly to fulfill these anticipated service levels. Further tasks involve assessing 3rd party vendors and their transmission request to ensure data feeds are continuously transmitting data. We connect with rebalancing software company’s such as Riskalyze and E-money that are 3rd party money managers and they require API’s to grab information from outside website and return with an interpretable format, when these transmission go dark we have to troubleshoot how to reconnect and properly consent to setting up new vendor transmission feeds. Some transmissions we have built data feeds using meta tags as unique identifiers to identify which fields are sent to reporting software and which ones are stand alone inside the custodians. On a daily basis I am tasked with reviewing performance reports for advisors to monitor suitability and comparative performance. I help advisors interpret their time value of money calculations, such as NPV, IRR or holding period yields for the portfolio returns.
