SPECIAL OLYMPICS USA GAMES, Seattle, Washington 2018

An international sporting competition for athletes with intellectual disabilities, organized by Special Olympics.

Competition Director: Responsible for overseeing the volunteer and game operations for the Indoor Volleyball competition. Reporting to the Volleyball Technical Delegate.

SPECIAL OLYMPICS WORLD GAMES, Los Angeles, California 2015

An international sporting competition for athletes with intellectual disabilities, organized by Special Olympics.

Competition Management Deputy: Primarily responsible for all volunteer crew on what is called the “Field of Play (FOP)”. This would consist of 3 FOP Supervisors, 12 Line Judges, Ball Retrievers, Floor Mopper’s, etc… In total around 95+ volunteers over a period of 8 days, task with assigning and supervising all FOP volunteers. At the same time, I would review playing schedules (to insure start times were kept), deal with competition protest, medical emergencies, staff discrepancies, monitor the safety of staff and athletes, court assignment of 27 international teams, insure officials were happy with court/crew and equipment was kept to FIVB (International Volleyball Federation) standards.

A non-profit organization founded in the United States that arranges experiences described as "wishes" to children with life-threatening medical conditions.
