AIRLINE CARGO OPERATIONS:

Book shipments and respond on rate inquiries over phone and e-mail.

Give space allocation and prepared LOAD PLAN considering aircraft types (A-310, B-737-B777-200 and B777-300) etc.

Plan ULD types and Check ULD’s as per IATA regulation.

Check manifesting and NOTOC.

Coordinate with LOAD CONTROLLER with general cargo and special Cargo (HUM/

AVI/DIP/DGR/PER/VAL/NWP/LHO/

HEG) loading.

Maintain departure details; check LDM, CPM, UCM, LUC and FFM.

Provide departure and arrival details to customer.

Handle discrepancy inquiry regarding export, import.

Briefed to customer regarding shipment & documentation process.

Instructed Operator regarding keeping cargo in warehouse and updated system.

Build up:

Checked read-file and sign for understanding, Received following documents from SCA (Sr. Cargo Asst.) – Airline Load Plan, Build up list.

Handed over a copy of buildup list to Equipment Operator to retrieve ULD & Cargo based on load plan.

Loaded in ULD’s and bulk as per the SCA (Sr. Cargo Officer.) Instruction.

Instructed the porters to load cargo as per the plan & ensuring the maximum capacity of the ULD & Contour, observed them while loading to ensure everything is loaded, and checked air-waybill with number of pieces.

Secured the cargo with lashing belt & using spreaders for equaling the weight all over the unit.

Followed IATA rules and segregation, structural and operational weight limitations while loading DGR cargo. Checked if build up was completed and ensured the lasing net or close doors of ULD’s are proper.

Gave Information about DGR to the SCA.

Screen the cargo by Airline Screeining Authorities for Cargo under-cooling period.

Weighed the ULD’s and preparing tag accordingly for specific requirements and DGR tag is prepared for ULD which has it.

Finished the Loading within the stipulated time (3 hrs Before Departing) as per Rules

Built-up Completion Report.

Breakdown:

Checked read-file and sign for understanding.

Received following documents from SCA (Sr. Cargo Asst.) – Airline Cargo Manifest.

Checked for the Lahore Destination Cargo physically.

Retrieved ULD’s for breakdown.

Dismantled the unit and give proper locations in the warehouse.

Ensured that Master consol shipments were to be located as per each house airway bill number and Master single shipments to be located as per Master Airway Bill.

Gave proper locations according to the special instructions such as Perishable Cargo, Radioactive Material, Diplomatic Mail & Cargo, Dangerous Goods, Vulnerable Cargo as per given in the cargo manifest.

Ensured the cargo was handled carefully by the porters while un-loading.

Gave priority to express Handling Goods & Courier.

Delivery:

Briefed to customer receiving process for shipment & documentation.

Checked bill of entry, Airway bill, then issued gate pass.

Instructed operator to bring cargo on given location, checked Airway bill number, number of pieces and house number.

Handed over cargo to customer and capture proof of delivery

Transferred Air to Air shipment or DTD shipment.

In case of cargo damage, reported to tracing department and supervisor.
