WORK EXPERIENCE
08/2018 – 08/2020
Technical Product Manager
paq LLC
San Diego, CA
Making sleep studies accessible by creating a take home sleet test that would be a substitute to a traditional polysomnography test.
Developed HIPAA Compliant cloud platform and analytics dashboard (enterprise software). Technologies - Python, C, WatchOS, iOS, Java, Cotlin, CSS, HTML, Node.js, React Native, RoR.
Developed an iOS application (in Swift and C) to allow users to connect to a peripheral device (containing a Nordic MCU) via BLE to set alarms and timers. Lead a team of 4 engineers into understanding biometric data analysis, cloud clusters, web development, sleep graphs and monitoring physiology through sensor data collection (C, Assembly), processing (Python) and analytics dashboard (Python, Django, RoR).
06/2019 – 09/2019
Software Engineering Intern
Solvvy Inc. (True Ventures Program)
San Mateo, CA
Developed new infrastructure components to keep up with growing list of customers and product features (GCP, Python, Kubernetes, Docker, Openstack). Developed internal testing tool for automated testing of conversational backends
(Google Kubernetes Engine).
Internal Testing tool helped the SWE team to test changes in knowledge base and algorithms locally without straining the production GCP. Maintained infrastructure code (Pulumi).
Took control of the iOS and Android app development (migrating the apps to iOS 13) which were critical for a $250k annual customer subscription. (Swift 3.x, Swift 4.x, Objective-C, x86_64 architecture).
Developed test protocols for internal SWE team to run rigorous tests on mobile SDKs before sending out the SDKs for customer trials (Scripts). Converted mobile native SDKs to web apps to maintain consistency with the product experience; both on browser and mobiles (CSS, HTML, JS, Java, Cotlin, Swift, Objective-C). 06/2018 – 06/2019
Software Engineering Intern (1 year)
Volvo Cars R&D
Sunnyvale, CA
Worked on the Volvo future software team in primarily vanilla Javascript, JAVA and Python to plan, design and develop the full stack implementation of a new framework to test emotion induced changes in the car cabin. Project resulted in R&D team confirming the possibility of emotion - based control and endorsing the technical stack.
Implemented a probabilistic approach based on Bayesian learning to better estimate HRV, RSP from PPG signal recorded by wearable devices and enhance the performance of the automatic multi scale-based peak detection (AMPD) algorithm used for peak detection. This increased the efficiency by 32%. Developed a neural network to implement a prediction model for valence and arousal at discrete instances of time. Predictions were 71% accurate. TECHNICAL SKILLS

RESEARCH
Swartz Center - Computational Neuroscience
(08/2018 – 02/2019)
Worked with Prof. TP Jung to create a machine learning time-synchronized pipeline that identifies people moods
(emotions) during an activity and predict the ideal moods to increase efficiency.
Robotics Contextual Institute
(06/2018 – 06/2019)
Worked with Prof. Jack Silberman to create autonomous algorithms using LiDAR sensors and conducting user research.
Human Centered & Ubiquitous Computing Lab
(08/2017 – 09/2019)
Worked with Prof. Nadir Weibel to create an HIV
monitoring platform PIRCNET. We developed an
algorithm that estimates the geo-direction of HIV
transmission using social behavior analysis (Twitter tweets)
