Designed, developed and installed Motorola’s iDEN/Nextel & LTE 4G Alpha systems, this over the air test system consisted of 13 unique sites at 5 locations and was used for software and hardware testing.
Managed contracted construction teams for the installation of all the sites, within budget and within the time constraints of the group’s release schedule.
Developed a system for selection of iDEN/Nextel Alpha locations to ensure maximum coverage / minimum cost.
Customized technical and physical configurations of the sites to meet or exceed all test requirements.
Installed microwave back haul links and planned and routed all fiber and T1 paths needed to allow the users and testers complete control and monitoring of every unique site.
Standardized all routing, physical layout and power documentation for all 13 sites and their auxiliary equipment for our lab support team to perform maintenance and troubleshooting.
