US Army Corps of Engineers – Riyadh, Saudi Arabia 2017-2018 - Contract assignment for Saudi Ministry of Interior-Military Assistance Group (MOI-MAG) conducted by US Army. Responsible for Program Master Plans, Work Breakdown Structures and MS–Project schedules for several Saudi Officer training programs. These programs were Army Rangers, Aviation (helicopters) Flight and Maintenance training, Facilities Security Forces and Border Guards for detachments in Jeddah and Dammam. These efforts were contractual deliverables for several different Letters of Authorization (LOAs) on Foreign Military Sales with values over $130 million over 3 years.

Saudi Royal Commission/SAPL - Engineering Services, Yanbu Manufacturing City, KSA Manufacturing Planning Manager. 2013-2015. Contract assignment. Responsible for land use planning on a tract of 106,000 acres (46,000 ha.) of desert manufacturing industrial park site to support continued growth of industry on the Red Sea. Inter-modal port/rail/truck/air cargo requirements planning of a diversified industrial base to expand petrochemicals manufacturing, automotive/steel manufacturing, mining and minerals processing for national use and export. Cut & Fill earthworks fleet analysis for 37 million cubic meters along the shore. Also completed functional design analysis for modular industrial building park for units between 500/1,000/1,500 sq. meters and medical warehouse layout/equipment selection for Royal Commission Hospital.

ISS & ENI-Tecnomare Oil Services in Amman, Jordan. Materials & Logistics Manager, 2011- 2012. Contract assignment. FEED engineering support for Capital Equipment planning and expenditures to support the Logistics Support Base in the Al Zubair Oil field of Basra, Iraq. Pre-Engineered buildings, Potable and Fire Safety water equipment, Welding Equipment, Pump Stations & Tank Storage. Support of equipment procurement, delivery and installation for a major facility of over 40 industrial buildings and also residence halls for 300 expatriate workers. Approximately. $80 million dollar project which had frequent contractual and legal delays.

US Marine Corps in Albany, GA. Sr. Consultant/RFID Analyst 2010 – 2011. Contractor assignment to perform a comprehensive review and develop functional requirements for all Warehousing and Logistics operations for Marine Corps Depots and forward operating locations worldwide. A portion of Marine Corps Global Combat Support System upgrade, MC-GCSS.

CSC, Inc. Senior Operations Consultant IRAQ 2008 - 2009 Staff consultant, Served as a Sr. Operations Consultant for US Dept. of Defense and their Task Force for Business Stability Operations. Re-established manufacturing infrastructure and expanded manufacturing output to grow the Iraqi national economy. Implemented a $100 MM long-term capital investment program across several state run factories over two years. Included a Hot-dip Galvanizing operation, an ethanol distillery renovation, a date packaging plant, a textile mill, a grain mill renovation, Electric Arc Furnace, vacuum molding & sand molding line installations. Also contracts & procurement for several Oil & Gas related manufacturers in over 360 Km of 48” (1.2m) diameter pipelines for the Basra and Baiji Refineries, pump stations, pressure vessels and storage tank farms. $14 MM in new capital investment for facilities power generation, X-ray weld inspection, pig cleaning systems, orbital welding, metal working and heat treating.

United Technologies – Kidde Fire & Safety Division, Matamoros, Mexico. Senior Project Manager 2007. Contractor - Critical Facilities & Process Engineering upgrades for a Maquiladora manufacturing dry-powder personal and residential fire extinguishers. Critical Lean Mfg. & Kaizen events to improve production. Key accomplishments are in new equipment installation, Process improvement, training and skills transfer to shop floor personnel, TPM maintenance procedures in a bi-lingual format, productivity improvements. Aluminum “deep draw slug extrusion” of bottles on a 1,200 ton Schuler Press and downstream manufacturing and filling operations.

Watts Water Technologies, Boston, MA Contractor - Director of North American Distribution, 2006. In charge of all sites in North America supporting retail and wholesale clients. 100K - 250K sf locations. Inventory Consolidation and order picking efficiency improved 35% in less than 6 months. Sales passed $1 Billion for the first time in 2006.

Bosch Rexroth Hydraulics in Bethlehem, PA 2006. Contract - Facilities relocation assessment. Advisor and consulting assignment to plan relocation of appx. 100,000 sf of shipping, receiving and main stores to an off-site location for increased production growth.

Sanofi Pasteur Pharmaceuticals/Vaccines – Pennsylvania and Toronto, Canada 2006 - Contractor. MES Architecture Site Survey in US and Canada for all mfg. plant. Involved with standardizing factory controls on HVAC, electrical and plumbing systems, network designs, data integrity, FDA CFR21 Part 11 certification and validation across multiple sites. Standardize North American Operations with those in Europe.

Sunny Delight Beverages, Atlanta, GA. 2005 Contractor - Raw Materials and finished Goods Inventory assessment for 140K sf facility, resulting in 3PL cost savings of approximately $10,000 per day. (Converting over from SAP R/3 to Microsoft Axapta – Purchasing, AR, Inv. Mgt. modules for raw materials and FG Inv.) Identified errors in the conversion process for raw materials and coordinated with the supplier and IT software specialists to make changes/fixes to the code.

Panasonic Automotive Systems 2004 - Quality Engineering and Warranty services for in Peachtree City, GA. Identified and eliminated key warranty defects in high-end CD/DVD automotive systems leading to cost savings of over $100,000 per month in domestic warranty operations from auto dealers. Project utilized Agile Engineering and document control and configuration management methodology. Components involved were electronic components from Asia and sheet metal stampings domestically.

British American Tobacco, Dhaka, Bangladesh. Contractor, 2003. Raw Materials and finished good warehouse renovation of approximately 70,000 sf facility. Installed gravity flow racks, HVAC and electrical upgrades, stretch wrap machines and expanded loading docks for trucks. Increased storage capacity by over 40% and implemented FIFO configuration without any additions to floor space. Daily production increased from average of 46MM per day to 60MM per day due mostly to less down-time, more effective use of stores and scrap reduction.

US Postal Service's Integrated Management System (IMS), Fairfax, VA and multiple US Sites. Project Manager/Senior Consulting Engineer 2001 – 2002. Contractor. Operations improvement and automation projects in typically. 250K sq. ft. facilities nationwide in over 400 US sites. IMS supports all bulk material handling operations and logistics effort at over 400 general mail facilities via a national network. Specification of shop floor control systems, demand forecasting, equipment modernization, and detailed operations scheduling systems are the project's major components.

Micro-Coating Technologies, Atlanta. GA, 2000. Contractor. Facilities/relocation consultant transitioning a small high-tech firm scattered in five rental properties into a single 130,000 sf. Engineering R&D lab/office space. HVAC, electrical, plumbing and asbestos upgrades and renovations.

Inquire Group/Delta Airlines 1999 – 2000 Contractor – Business Process Engineering and data modeling for aircraft maintenance, repair and overhaul operations in Atlanta.

General Motors of Doraville, GA, 1997- 1999. Contractor. Helped achieve ISO 9002 certification for first GM Assembly plant in the U.S. Led a cost saving project reducing materials and labor costs for weather-strips of over $3.1 million for the Mini-van program.

Nestle’/Stouffer Frozen Foods 1997 – Contractor - warehouse design and product layout for Stouffer/Nestle' Foods in Solon, Ohio, a 250K sf facility to serve Eastern US.

Duke Manufacturing Corporation, St. Louis, MO – Contractor, 1996 - 1997. DFM/DFA simplification and work cell design project for commercial food service equipment manufacturer, saving the client 50% in direct labor costs in Sheet Metal Fabrication and manual welding per unit assembled. Reduced total unit cost from $3000 to $2700 for 4,000 units built on the design. Approximately $1.2 MM savings.

GE Capital/TAVS, Atlanta, GA Contractor 1996-1997 - Warehouse design and equipment installation for Centennial Olympic Stadium in Atlanta. Warehouse renovation and Equipment Installation for High end Audio/Video and also MEP related fixtures in Olympic/Major League baseball stadium. (Turner Field)

Planmatics, Bethesda, MD. 1994 - 1995 Contractor - Engineering and consulting services in the fields of Third Party Logistics, Warehouse Management Software (Catalyst and Move 5.0 WMS) Systems, and Operations Improvement. Clients were USPS and Ryder Dedicated Logistics of Miami. Assignments were in Functional Requirements definition and analysis, 300K sf facility. WMS vendor evaluation and selection for RISC-and PC-based platforms, strategic planning for market penetration and long term growth, site surveys and facility layouts, warehouse process modeling, simulations, and BPR.

Booz-Allen & Hamilton/ConAgra-Longmont Foods, Longmont, CO 1994 Contractor. Developed a program to reduce direct labor head-count by more than 70 full time positions, improved Cooler, refrigeration and HVAC capabilities in an aging facility for better product freshness, saving the client more than $1.9 MM in payroll while reducing WIP and reducing product cycle time by more than eight hours (20%).

Robins Air Force Base, Warner Robins, GA 1993 - Contractor- Served as Program Manager on Robotics Paint Stripping System (RPSS) - $5.5 MM program to automate and integrate a dry ice pellet (.040" diameter) cryogenic blasting process with ADEPT robot controllers and vision systems.

Melrose Park, IL (1980 - 1982) QC Engr. - Developed and installed WIP inspection procedures for several production shops (engine blocks, heads, covers, cylinder sleeves, connecting rods, manifolds, camshafts, and crankshafts) supporting the DT-466 Turbo Diesel.
