Neural Style Transfer (Group), Fall 2019

This was my first major machine learning project. We explored the idea of transferring the

“style” of an image (a work of art for an example) to a “content” image (any ordinary picture). We implemented the neural style transfer algorithm using Oxford’s Visual Geometry Group’s 19 layered convolutional neural network (CNN). The project’s assets and code can be viewed here. 2D Video Game, Fall 2019

This was my first attempt at developing a game as well as my first product. I learned the ins- and-outs of C# and the Unity game engine. I learned how to develop UI, game controllers, animations, physics, reward systems, music and sound effects, and much more. The name of my game is “Fox Jumper” and it is an endless runner/jumper. The game can be played here and the game’s assets and code can be viewed here.

3D Video Game (Group), Fall 2019

This was my first experience working in a group. I worked with three other students and we created a 3D video game using the Unity game engine. The game is called “Mobin’ Goblins” and is a 3D top-down tower defense game. I learned how to work with other programmers by using Git and techniques like branching, merging, and handling merge conflicts. The game can be played here and the game’s assets and code can be viewed here.

Sorting Visualizer, Winter Break 2019/20

Over winter break, I created a sorting visualizer using C# and the Unity game engine. The program can be played here and the program’s assets and code can be viewed here. Terrain Generator, Spring 2020

I created a procedural terrain generator using C# and the Unity game engine and using Perlin noise. The program can be played here, and the program’s assets and code can be viewed here.
