Project Manager working to get Archiving initiative going in applications. Starting with set if core applications to start and make applications so they can be archived. Once application changes were done, start archiving older data to start saving on SAN costs for storage amounts. Had mandates to keep data for 10 plus years, setting archiving per application based on contractual constraints and times that online data had to be available, archiving anything older than those dates. Setup archiving model for applications.

Gathered data and costing for all applications, from server view thru network down to storage level to provide costing, future costing. Ability to track by application thru infrastructure used for individual applications. This was not currently in place when I started working on the project.
