Working as a Tech I Responsible for a large geographical real estates that begins at california highway 138 north to the Nevada State line. Sprint has a section of 155.9 miles of buried fiber optic cable that I am Primarily responsible for making sure that this fiber is not damages or disturbed in any way shape or form . I am registered with Utilisphere and I am alerted if there is any activity along my route . I the event of a cable cut, I have on board my Sprint provided service vehicle a emercentcy fiber restoration repair kit in which I will deploy when needed . On call Contractor taking work orders from recruiters, Work orders consisted of simple to complex I.T. Router, Switch, wireless A.P. P.O.S.

Duties:

• Received W.O. via smart phone, internet or phone call

• Accepted and confirmed work orders

• Printed out all relevant information

• Contacted manager on duty upon arrival

• Contacted customer support to provide arrival time and confirm equipment was on site

• Photos are taken before and after work as well as full documentation.

• Extend D Marc if needed

• Map and certify CAT5/6, install RJ-45/ RJ11 modular crimp on connectors

• Power up new Devices, consoled in to devices to confirm configurations

• Customer Support would release me from site after remote testing confirming traffic

• Upon completion M.O.D would sign off on my W.O. as task completed.

Duties:

• Worked from NCR's Trouble Ticking system.

• Break / fix, P.O.S. scanners, receipt printers, self-serve check outs, cash dispensers and coin cassettes, hard drive replacements, Debit card units, Mother board replace, LCD Monitors, Confirm LAN connectivity, replace, repair CAT 5, 6e, wire mapped and certified installed cables in repair process.

• Ordered defective parts while on site for same day to site delivery. Returned defective parts via Fed Ex ground.
