Sahlman is a group of companies involved in aquaculture, packaged ice and real estate development based in Tampa, FL with annual sales of US$30 million and over 600 employees.

Manage corporate treasury and controller functions, manage relationships with banks, auditors, tax advisors and attorneys.

Negotiated over $9.5 million in credit lines and over $6 million in long-term loans.

Supervise IT projects, technology strategy and led to the implementation of custom software developed in-house.

Submit annual corporate budget and projections to executive committee.

Prepare and track annual working capital and investment budgets.

Prepare monthly analysis of financial statements, variance analysis and review with executive committee.

Provide guidance, custom analysis of profitability and track Key Performance Indicators for corporate performance.

Managed a coffee marketing project in five Central American countries financed by USAID.

Implemented specialty coffee grader training and accreditation system that has become the industry quality standards.

Implemented internet specialty coffee auctions that attempted to increase traded volume and involve larger coffee industry players.

Developed a global network of coffee producers, traders, roasters, government agencies and NGO's.

ED&F MAN Volcafe is among largest coffee traders in the world based in Wintherthur, Switzerland.

Assisted GM trading physical and futures coffee contracts and position keeping.

Cafensa was a coffee exporter with sales of US$9 million dollars and a pioneer in the specialty industry.

Assisted GM with physical trading of green coffee and P&L tracking.

September 1993 - October 1995 Vierci Corp – VTC Computers – Purchasing Manager – Miami, FL

VTC was among the largest IT distributors in the Miami area with sales of US$225 million.

Responsible for purchasing PC computer components for integration, resale and alternative inventory financing.
