Programme Support

Provide effective programme support to the Chief Technical Advisor/Programme Manager – Rule of Law as well as the other members of the Joint Programme Team

Help prepare letters of agreement, micro-capital grant agreements, project cooperation agreements, terms of reference, notes to file, presentations and meeting minutes, as appropriate

Participate in the preparation of annual work plans and annual reports, and help ensure that inputs requested by the CO and/or HQs are provided in a timely fashion

Financial and Administrative Support

Advise on applicable financial regulations and rules, and ensure cost-effective utilisation of programme resources

Advise programme partners and stakeholders on applicable UNDP rules, regulations and procedures and ensure strict compliance

Prepare requisitions, purchase orders and payment requests, as appropriate

Set up and maintain an organized filing system and establish proper document control procedures

Oversee the identification of office technology needs and maintenance of equipment, software and systems, coordinating enhancements as necessary

Ensure proper management of programme assets, including by preparing period inventory reports

Help ensure proper cost recovery in accordance with UNDP guidelines

Revision of ENHANCED BORDER SECURITY Financial Reports; preparation of PO and non-PO vouchers.

Maintenance of the internal expenditures control system which ensures that vouchers processed are matched and completed, transactions are correctly recorded and posted in Atlas.

Provide Timely corrective actions on unposted vouchers, including the vouchers with budget check errors, match exceptions, unapproved vouchers.

Responsible for the financial administration of the USAID Forest Incomes For Environmental Sustainability (FIFES) activities in Grand Bassa County that are coordinated and implemented from the FIFES Sub-Office, responsible for petty cash, fixed assets management, and collection of M&E data.
