The Online Admissions Application (OAA) is an Oracle Consulting Solution to allow Higher Ed Institutions to deploy and maintain multiple Admissions Applications easily within a single framework. This is template based fully configurable application where each page is built on sub pages and universities can hide or unhide the sub pages or the entire pages itself based on setup.

From a broader perspective, Campus Solutions does not currently provide a reusable, highly configurable online user interface as the primary method for prospective students to apply for admission to institutions of higher education. The user interface described here is to fill this gap in functionality and to become part of Oracle’s Campus Solutions suite of products.

The goal is to build one online application that is configurable by institution providing the flexibility to accommodate online application requirements for most institutions of higher education. As such, the application is also to be extensible to support additional application requirements and to provide controls to display specific sections This application has to be integrated with the delivered Campus Solutions admission module this can be done using AAWS. AAWS: This is a front-end solution that is Powered by the Admissions Applications Web Services [AAWS] - Released with Feature Pack 3. PeopleSoft released around 10 web services in Feature Pack 3, which can be used by any external application, which can provide web services.
