JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

I am working in a development project which is engaged to Design, develop, document and implement new programs and subprograms, as well as enhancements, modifications, and corrections to existing software based on customer’s requirement.

Analyze and develop Mainframe z/OS applications using Cobol/JCL/CICS/DB2/VSAM/File-Aid/Xpeditor.

Develop testing, debugging routines, improvement areas and oversee execution.

Individually owning up the stories and interacting with clients directly for the clarifications.

Directly interacting with clients to convert additional business requirements into LD ticket format.

Using Changeman for owning up full code release activities and involving with testing support, validation, planning, end to end analysis, defect handling and code push activities.

Create documentation and procedures for installation and maintenance.

Requirement Testing: Understand the business needs for the application using Requirement document created by the business people, which are helpful to continue with testing procedures with complete knowledge on the package.

Knowledge of SDLC, waterfall, prototype and Agile Method.

CICS Online Screens: Checking the transaction screens by providing several kinds of inputs and checking it’s functionality against the inputs and recording the same.

Convert Complex Big accounting data’s into presentable Chart or Table Format Using MS-Excel.
