BFI Network Services Sdn Bhd ( ******* – K ) Update March 2020

Incorporated in April 2015 to take over BFI Network Services a partnership registered in 1999. This is to place the business on a stronger footing as it expands to the wider corporate sector.

Ben Ooi (Founder). Completed secondary education in Penang Free School in 1972. In 1976 received Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Singapore Polytechnic. Returned to Malaysia to work for few companies marketing technical products based in Sabah, East Malaysia.

In 1982 left for US and obtained Degree in Quantitative Business Analysis, Indiana University. In 1984 returned to Singapore to join International Bank of Singapore Corporate Banking. In 1989 returned to Malaysia to join Commercial Banking Standard Chartered Bank. In 1995 joined Utama Wardley a merchant bank partly owned by HSBC.

Corporate Finance services

In 1999 left UW to set up BFI Network Services to provide consulting services to companies. Arrange, refinance and restructure of bank loans. Clients include small and medium size companies engaged in diverse businesses and industries.

Through associates we offer shared services such as Accounting, Audit, Tax, etc

Executive Search / Headhunting

In 2011 diversified to Executive Search. Current clients are MayBank, UOB and Affin Hwang Investment Bank. Past clients were AmBank Group, CIMB Bank and Kuwait Finance House and corporates.

In 2018 added clients ie Paramount Corp, Deleum Group, Top Glove, Minetech, Eversendai, etc. Provided CVs for Accounting, Finance, Audit, IT Project, Legal, etc

Being a small company we are flexible and can respond faster to our client’s needs. The motivation to succeed is high. Plus affordable fees due to lower operating overheads.
