PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE
Amazon Software Development Engineering Intern Seattle, WA May 2019 - Aug. 2019
• Developed a user permission auditing tool for Amazon's Facebook Business Account.
• Integrated with Amazon S3 and used REST API calls to validate users and store it's results.
• Collaborated with Facebook engineers to identify and fix bugs on Facebook Business SDK.
• Followed production level Java coding standards and Agile software development process.
• This automated tool eliminated 40 hours of manual labor every month. ASML Software Development Intern San Diego, CA June 2018 – Aug. 2018
• Developed a customized profiling tool in C that provide statistics on performance of a code.
• Designed the tool for compatibility across multiple Intel Architectures and Operating Systems.
• This tool helped boost software speed by 60% and Agile development methodology was used. Blockchain Research Lab (ASU) Research Assistant Tempe, AZ Oct. 2018 - Present
• Developing a Proof of Concept blockchain to account for security of IOT devices on IOTA.
• Emulate energy flow between EV vehicles and chargers using IOT devices to track energy flow.
• Provide experimental test-bed to assess the feasibility of real-time management of energy flow. CenturyLink Product Development Intern Monroe, LA May 2017 – July 2017
• Designed websites on Single Page Application format in a group of 4 - AngularJS & HTML/CSS.
• Designed the UI with interactive graphs for billing, account and network information.
PROJECTS
• Utilized Google’s Cloud Vision API to create an Android app in Java that recognizes objects in real time and provides audio feedback to assist people with visual impairments.
• Developed & ran spatial queries on a taxi cab database in a team of 6
– Implemented user-defined functions using SparkSQL and Scala to run various spatial queries on geographic coordinates and real-time location data of customers.
– Implemented hot cell analysis using spatial statistics to spatio-temporal big data in order to identify statistically significant hot spots for taxi pick ups using Apache Spark.
– Implemented hot zone analysis using rectangle data set and point data set as inputs.
• Coded a file locking and file transfer service application in C++ with User Datagram Protocol
(UDP) in a client-server architecture using socket programming.
• Coded a textual entailment application using neural networks in PyTorch to predict if line 1 entails, contradicts or is neutral to line 2 with 88% accuracy using GloVe representation.
• NASA Psyche Mission (ASU Capstone Project)
– Built an imaging system that provides consistent images for all textures of meteorite samples.
– Coded the system to embed metadata in images with NAPS2 open source scanning software.
– Developed a driver in C that controls the scanner hardware and its movement.
• Designed an AI tweet patrol software in Python in a team of 4, that rates tweets on a scale of 5 based on malicious content using Sigmoid layers in a Neural Network (Desert Hacks 2017).
• Built a face recognition system using stereo cameras to estimate depth to better recognize faces with 94% accuracy using ROS and OpenCV in an interdisciplinary group of 5.
• Analyzed event handler and signaling workings under different conditions in a multi-threaded program in Linux using kernel shark and built a redistributing signal library.
