Job Responsibilities

1. Inspect, repair, modify and install HVAC equipment including refrigeration and air conditioning compressors, receivers, condensers, chillers, pumps and hand valves, expansion valves and capillary tubes.

2. Conduct regular preventive maintenance inspections of refrigeration units, isolated heating and ventilating units, gas and electrically operated air conditioning equipment, and make necessary adjustments or repairs; service and repair evaporative coolers, Chillers, FAHU, AHU, FCU, EF, package & split A/C Primary/Secondary pumps etc.

3. Repair or replace defective parts in units and equipment and their controls, including thermostats, automatic switches, fan controls, log switches, damper motors, relays, filters, controls, belts, compressors, heat exchangers, high limit controls, pressure controls, safety valves, and automatic gas valves. 4. Repairing and maintaining chiller systems (Carrier 30XA, York YCIV 175, York YCIV 385, Trane RTAD 150 etc.

5. Operate a variety of hand and power tools, welder torch, vacuum pump, test equipment utilized in the trade; maintain equipment in effective and safe working condition; maintain parts and tool inventory.

6. Perform skilled electrical maintenance work in the repair, installation and alteration of HVAC equipment, components, motors and wiring systems as needed; connect motors to control panels. 7. Communicate with helpdesk to resolve completed work order of Plane Preventive Maintenance (PPM) and Corrective Maintenance

(CM) and Prepare hard copy’s with used materials details to submit Supervisor.

8. Attend weekly meeting with project team and inform to supervisor for ongoing major activity of HVAC and as well as other departments and follow the instructions of supervisor to maintain smooth site operation.

9. Maintain site store inventory for HVAC department and submit consumed materials report on monthly basis to supervisor for smooth site operation.

10. Maintains plans, records and files regarding heating, ventilating and air conditioning systems.
