Software Engineer Intern – ClassCalc, CA, US (June 2019 – Aug 2019):

• Developed multiple frontend and backend features with React.js, Redux, JavaScript in ClassCalc app increasing app usability.

• Refactored app code and tests increasing code compatibility and reusability. Software Intern – IBM, Dubai, UAE (July 2015 – Sept 2015):

• Built and tested multiple virtual machines used by students in IBM Middle East and Africa University Programs for practical course training.

• Created official IBM documentation used by employees worldwide to replicate virtual machines minimizing time spent and decreasing human errors faced in creation/testing phase.

• Prototyped and validated a virtual machine on Linux reducing company cost of producing it by migrating it to Linux from other platforms.

Software Intern – Global Invisions Inc., Dubai, UAE (Aug 2014 – Sept 2014):

• Redesigned client’s website with team collaboration with WordPress improving user-interface and user experience.

• Built database platform with team for client with cPanel, phpMyAdmin, Databased technologies reducing client effort for data access and management.

PROJECTS

Vacation Rental Full Stack Web Application (Masters – Individual) – Created distributed web application

(HomeAway prototype) with authentication, post/search/book properties and upload photo features. Technologies – Node.js, React, Redux, JavaScript, REST, MongoDB, BCrypt, Zookeeper, Kafka, Amazon EC2 Meal Planner Android Application (Masters – Team) – Coded app with admin features to add/remove food types, user features to search food types, set notification reminders, manage daily meal plan and share via other apps. Technologies – Android (Java), Android Studio, Google Cloud Firebase Database IoT Smart Supply Chain Website (Masters – Team) – Supply chain management web app to track delivery truck location. Developed frontend using React to render cargo location on Google Maps. Truck information was stored on RDS accessed via REST APIs through a web service written in Node.js. EC2 was used to host the full stack web app. Technologies –React, Google Maps, Material UI, Node.js, REST, Amazon EC2, Amazon RDS, SQL COMPUTER SKILLS
