Responsible for the financial processing of transactions for Local + Turtle, which is a $30 million dollar food distribution company serving Tampa and surrounding areas. Duties include daily bookkeeping, record keeping, financial reporting, and financial audits. Responsible for reconciling and verifying invoices. I have a good knowledge of financial responsibilities pertaining to the AP department. Responsible for processing payroll and assisting employees in navigating their HR needs. Community Service Coordinator
Responsible for establishing appropriate community service sites and assigning felony offenders sentenced to perform community service to appropriate sites. It is my responsibility to ensure that the Common Pleas Court judge’s orders are adhered to and fulfilled as expected. I monitor approximately 100+ individual client cases, ensuring that the community service hours presented are valid and accurate, while maintaining a good relationship with the non-profit community service sites. I perform drug screening of clients and monitor those who attend GED at the Day Reporting facility. This position requires close communication with state and county probation and parole officers and maintaining an unbiased, objective attitude. I must maintain a keen perception of client behaviors, while protecting confidentiality and attention to detail. Additionally, I am responsible for the inventory and ordering of all office supplies, cleaning supplies and drug screening equipment for the program. I also collect and calculate all agency statistics.

Area Representative and FLEX/YES Program Cluster Leader
As an Area Representative for ASSE, I was responsible for public relations in the North East Ohio area promoting a high school foreign student exchange program. I recruited host families in the area, which included interviewing potential host families and insuring that the host home was a safe and nurturing environment for the incoming student. I also facilitated the orientation and training of host families and the incoming students. This involved explaining rules and guidelines of the U. S. Department of State and the ASSE Program. with flight coordination and confirmation, VISA issues and travel concerns within the United States. In the event of issues with student behavior or host family concerns, I
also acted as counselor and mediator to resolve problems. As a Cluster Leader, I help students in two special programs, FLEX and YES. The FLEX (Future Leaders Exchange) is a program established from the collapse of the Soviet Union, and plays a
critical role in providing youth from the former Soviet Union the opportunity to live and study in the United States. The YES (Youth Exchange and Study Program) was created in response to the tragic events of September 11, 2001. These special programs are funded by the United States Department of State and are intended to bridge the cultural divide between the United States and the countries involved in the programs.
