Managed all of Sigit Automation’s on-site responsibilities and related day to day activities with the prime contractor Parkland Pipeline Contractors Ltd and their three-year contract for TransCanada’s $1B Northern Courier Pipeline project in Wood Buffalo, AB. Provided leadership for all automation, controls (Compact Logix PLCs & Honeywell BMSs), electrical and instrumentation on the five specialized multi-million dollar pipe heating skids critical to this project. Prioritized multiple competing assignments, analyzed data, control system and machine design, writing technical reports and manuals. Negotiated terms of contracts with prime contractors and managed crews of technicians and operators including training, scheduling, parts, reports, invoicing and travel.
