Selected Accomplishments:

As Chief Financial Officer of a private-equity portfolio company, grew revenues from $200 million to $500 million and net income from $15 million to $60 million through successful negotiation of four $250 million multi-year contracts and tight control of capital expenditures and general and administrative expenses.

As Chief Financial Officer of a private-equity owned company, grew revenues from $25 million to $130 million and EBITDA from $5 million to $60 million in four years through four acquisitions and organic growth.

Initiated a turn-around as Chief Financial Officer of the US subsidiary of a private aviation company with $700 million in revenues. EBITDA increased from negative $4 million to $25 million in three years through process reengineering, line of business reorganization, lease negotiations, and cost reductions achieved through purchasing efficiencies and headcount decreases. Company was successfully sold at a tremendous premium to a private equity firm in 2006.

Assembled finance department at largest start-up airline in United States. Selected and implemented accounting systems, hired and trained finance staff, developed and implemented internal controls, created financial reporting package and oversaw preparation of the initial capital and operating budget.

As the Vice President of Finance of a public company, effected financial turn-around by reducing operating expenses $10 million – renegotiated aircraft leases, property taxes and insurances. Elected to Board of Directors in 1997, served as interim Chief Executive Officer for three months in 1998.

Chief Financial Officer As CFO of this $50 million United States government entity, supervise 20 employees in the Finance Department. Responsible for government appropriations, operating and capital budgeting, cash management, financial analysis, internal controls, banking relationships, foreign currency transactions, payroll, accounts receivable, accounts payable, inventory management and fixed assets. Manage the financial aspects of the joint US Government/Government of Japan Defense Policy Review Initiative as it impacts MCAS Iwakuni; base expansion results in MCCS Iwakuni adding 17 new facilities, 300 employees and $15 million in equipment in the next four years.

Chief Financial Officer As CFO of this $100 million United States government entity, supervised 50 employees in the Finance Department. Responsible for government appropriations, operating and capital budgeting, cash management, financial analysis, internal controls, banking relationships, foreign currency transactions, payroll, accounts receivable, accounts payable, inventory management and fixed assets. Chief Financial Officer Direct all administrative functions of helicopter operator acquired by private equity firm in 2005. Brought in by new owners to manage banking relationships, institute internal controls, develop financial reporting systems, and upgrade staff. Supervise 40 employees in accounting, IT, purchasing, legal and human resources. Chief Financial Officer, North and South America (2001 to 2006) As corporate CFO, supervised forty finance employees in four different locations. Assistant Controller (1991 to 1993). Responsible for the preparation of monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements and forecasts for $1.5 billion Company. Also responsible for capital reporting, franchise reporting and unit level operations analysis, as well as account reconciliations, systems development, special projects, international accounting, coordination with independent auditors and systems maintenance and development in conjunction with the Information Services Department.
