Have a proven track experience in the field of Construction Industry (UAE, Qatar, Oman & India) ranging from Residential, Commercial, Utilities and Infrastructure, Airport & Industrial projects, having 16 years of work experience with major Multi National Companies in the field of civil engineering varying my career from Site Engineer to Senior Project Engineer, QA/QC Manager and Construction Manager in International market. Having wide experience in Project execution/site engineering & project management, As Construction Manager I have lead team of Supervisors, Engineers and Senior Engineers and effectively managed and delivered the projects on time. I have a maximum range of construction management dealing day to day site activities from inception to final handing over to client and supporting & managing materials, procurement and costs with the estimators and project quantity surveyors. I also had experience in dealing with Major Clients (Qatar Petroleum, Al Nakheel, Dept of Civil Aviation & ADAC, MSD, AE7, UAE, Petroleum Development of Oman) and Consultants (Burns & McDonnell’s, AECOM, and KEO International) with regards to drawings and clarifications and progress reporting while liaising with planning team to meet the project milestones.


Having multi-disciplinary, International and cross-cultural work experience, leading from India to Gulf (UAE, Qatar & Oman) i.e., from Site Engineer to Construction Manager and specialized in Quality Systems as well, that led to successful management of projects; gives me an opportunity to briefly put forward all my responsibilities in accordance with the portfolios held.

Construction Manager - Current Responsibilities:

Monitoring & tracking of the project.

Micro level tracking of all sub-contractor packages and reporting to Project Director.

Material & Manpower management.

Train the Engineers and guide a team of Project Engineers and Construction Engineers

Cost control procedures to the project.

Ensuring smooth progress of the project within the budget.

Supervise site organization with a multi-discipline project and execute the work as per construction programme with the set of performance parameter.

Raise RFI’S and monitor responses

Responsible for planning for procurement, raising requisitions, monitoring procurement tracking.

Assist in evaluating all subcontract appointments.

Prepare overall plan for execution & liaise with planning department, on detailed program, program preparation, resource allocation & monitor program duration and outputs take corrective actions with budgetary allowance.

Responsible for managing and driving the nominated sub-contractors

Liaise with management on allocations of resource; be cognizant of store’s Inventory and purchase of materials.

Control work supervisions & lead the team by example i.e., Timekeeping, cleanliness, and attention to detail, safety and quality.

Manage, control, liaise & coordinate all subcontractors on your section impose all contract requirements with respect of quality scope, program and budget maintain total written records and correspondence of all events liaising with contract administration engineering, procurement as necessary.

Coordinate with the consultants for bill approvals, preparing and submitting all necessary records as per the contract requirement with the prior approval of the Project Manager and Respective Functional Department.

Preparing all necessary daily, weekly and monthly reports as per requirement’s and conducting regular meeting with the internal department.

Ensure that all site activities are performed in the most effective and efficient manner sets targets for the members and provide necessary coaching to further optimize performances.

Monitoring site progress Vs construction schedule, timely and accurate site reports and implementing corrective steps for improvement.

Supervise the activities of all project activities including determining schedules, schedules of values, subcontractor selection and submittal approval.

Ensures compliance with contract requirements finally meeting quality, cost & time parameter.

Design co-ordination including pre-concept, concept & developed design for design build project

Attending meetings with the Contractor and Consultant to present project progress and highlighting issues with corrective measures

Responsibilities Held During QA/QC Manager Position:

Prepare and Implement project specific Quality plans, inspection & test plans, manage client / consultant / third party agencies liaison, evaluate supplier/ subcontractor Quality performance.

Preparation of Inspection test plans for all constructions activities starting from inception till handing over.

Review sub contractors' / suppliers' Quality Assurance & Control related documents and carry out QC inspections.

Responsible to arrange laboratory tests for soil, concrete and other materials as per the contract/ requirements. Review/compile all test results and submit for consultant/client approval.

Responsible to review all technical submittals like shop drawings, material submittals, method statement & ITP prior to submit for consultant/client approval.

Ensure compliance by all concerned to Project Quality requirements.

Support compilation of quality records - Inspection, Test procedures /reports Quality dossiers/ Manufacturer Data Records as per project requirements.

All works shall be inspected properly as per the approved shop drawings method statements & contract specs and obtain client/consultant approval.

Coordinate client, consultant, statutory agencies and third party meetings, inspections and audits.

Prepare and implement audit/ inspection schedules.

Issue non-conformance reports for deficiency/ violations and ensure corrective & preventive actions are implemented.

Perform internal and external audits to various departments like Commercial, Tendering, Procurement & Planning, issue non-conformance reports, corrective & preventive action requests, maintain NCR logs and prepare trend analysis.

Ensure Project Quality requirements are compiled for material/equipment received and method statements. Conform to project scope of work and matches technical specifications & international code and standards.

Submit / compile reports required for various requirements.

Overall in-charge and responsible for monitoring the smooth flow of the projects within Quality, Cost, and Time.

Coordinating with contractual documents and ensuring the execution of the required scope of works.

Responsible for approval of drawings, NOC, and other legal documents to get the building permits within the time frame.

Responsible to compile/review O & M manuals & same shall be submitted for client/consultant approval.
