WORK EXPERIENCE

ICT OFFICER – BIOMETRIC OPERATOR

World Vision Sierra Leone; July 1, 2017 to June 30, 2019.

Responsibilities

Provide level one support on network connectivity for users at the site; escalated network downtimes to ICT head at site level for resolution.

Adapt with all security processes involved in protecting the usability and integrity of the system and data.

Troubleshoot PC, printers and network related issues at the site; biometric system administration.

Capturing of research participants data into the biometric system to ensure proper identification and verification; conduct weekly verification and cleaning of data to match up with project partner’s data records.

Provide weekly and monthly reports with accurate biometrics operational data to enhance decision making; attend and contribute to all biometrics trainings and meetings.

Prepare monthly projection of biometrics needs to support the biometrics operations; facilitate trainings on database and data analysis packages.

Synchronizations of biometric data across the project sites; prepare and submit daily reports on the biometric activities to the supervisor.

Responsibilities

Taking inventory of materials/stock received from suppliers; check stock received from UK for discrepancy.

Taking inventory of materials/stock issued out to workers at the site; daily checkup of the materials/stock level; requesting for materials from the main store; purchasing of local materials for smooth operation.

Sending monthly report of the stock level to the Accountant; sending discrepancy report on receipt of stock/materials from UK to the Accountant
