Project Description: Royal Caribbean Cruises Ltd. (RCCL) is a global cruise holding company incorporated in Liberia and based in Miami, Florida, US. It is the world's second-largest cruise line operator, after Carnival Corporation & plc. As of March 2009, Royal Caribbean Cruises Ltd. fully owns three cruise lines: Royal Caribbean International, Celebrity Cruises, and Azamara Club Cruises.

The Excalibur program was started to digitize the old legacy system (PCP). Under Excalibur there are different tracks that cater to different businesses within Royal Caribbean. Some of the major tracks within Excalibur include- Employee (within Employee track we have Homeport, Stateroom Attendant, Hotel Inspection, CrewApp, Kids Club, PreCheck), Connected Experience (which includes Guest Request, Digital Shore Experience, Connected Stateroom), Core Experience (AEM+Content Services, Discovery Features, Ship Deploy) and Guest Facing (G2G Chat). All the tracks work under 2 weeks release which starts with Bronze build followed by Silver and Gold Build before releasing it to production. Project Description: As part of the Connected Vehicles (CV) – IoT system\services hosted in Azure cloud, the Performance Scalability Load team is involved in the E2E integrated load testing for the applications integrated to Connected Application system. Through Super Simulator (application mimics the Vehicle behavior) ~ 1Million Vehicles are connected to IoT/Connected Systems. Simulator mimics various vehicle health alerts (Low Tire Pressure, air bag fault etc.) and generate a Real life load profile to test with connected system under the projected load. Mobile application API (for Remote commands –Lock\Start\Stop\Unlock and login etc.) are generated via Visual Studio (VSTS). Based on the system behavior for the forecasted volume, sizing tests are performed for the various services hosted in connected system – Azure cloud. Sizing recommendation gets signed off after working coherently with the architect team. Impact analysis is done for the services not meeting the SLA (Performance degradation) due to change in code\design or new CR.
