As an A&P mechanic the functions that are accomplished include inspecting, repair, test & maintain regional jet aircraft. Using aircraft maintenance manuals & documents is key in accomplishing this. As an assembly mechanic we learned how to properly comprehend drawings, work instructions and specifications which allowed us to assemble structural components and sub-assemblies. Our team built and attached major wing assemblies by drilling, counter-sinking, deburr, sealing, riveting and much more. This position required working in confined spaces of the wing.

Aug. 2016 – May. 2018

The teams tasks were to troubleshoot and diagnose complex fuel system malfunctions. I was required to go through exstensive training that granted me over 100 training certificates which fully certified me to maintain F-16 aircraft. The team and I accomplished numerous & extensive aircraft repairs while deployed to Afghanistan. This aided the Air Force by saving time and millions of dollars in eort to accomplish the mission.
