EXPERIENCE

Owner/Operator Bachles Fireplace Furnishings 2003-2019 Under my ownership, Bachles achieved a retail/service business of $300k+ annual sales. In this predominately male industry, I autonomously owned and managed Bachles with several employees. I trained employees to sell, assemble, install and service our products in customers’ homes. I executed all bookkeeping to include accounts receivable/accounts payable, sales reporting, inventory control, payroll and government compliance, monthly and quarterly taxes using Quickbooks and Point of Sale software and constructed a website using a website builder. I interacted with customers, contractors, builders, sales representatives and other business owners. I had not had any previous experience in this industry when I bought this business, but my goal was to provide the best customer service. This was evidenced by 5 star customer reviews on several social media sites. I took the opportunity to sell Bachles in 2016. A year later, the new owners asked me to return to help in selling and I did this until late 2019.
