PERSONAL PROFILE

I am an experienced Computing & Business teacher who has tough at both post and pre-16 education. I have valuable experience of Managing and teaching Computing and Business subjects to students from a wide range of learning abilities, backgrounds and ages since September 2007. This has given me skills and expertise of managing student learning in an effective and successful way. As a Teacher & Manager, I am able to raise the standards of both young and adult learners to attain high achievement, retention and learner success. I have experience in managing computing and business curriculums, delivering UK business and computing qualifications from GCSE, BTEC and EDEXCEL. I have also taught on Computing and Business Management courses at Higher Education from levels 4 to 6 and preparing students for exams and other forms of assessments. I have a proven successful track record of managing department of teachers, students and support staff

I am very passionate about working with all types of learners, managing students, delivering learning and helping others to build knowledge and skills. I am a hardworking educator with enthusiasm who is full of self-esteem and confidence. I have the ability to use varied teaching styles and pedagogies to meet the different learning styles and abilities. I have been highly commended for my teaching through lesson observations and commended for the use of learning technologies, engaging and motivating learners and strong classroom management skills.

I have liaised with many academic people within educational establishments and can deal with many difficult and challenging situations.
