Project: Assessment of mutagenicity of textile dyes using Ames test

Description: The research work aim was to assess the mutagenicity or carcinogenicity of textile dyes to the people live near to the textile mills.

Objective:

1. Survey of Ludhiana textile mills for knowing Different dispersed and vat dyes used throughout the years.

2. To perform an assay to determine mutagenicity of disperse and vat dyes (Ames test)
