M.S. Occupational Health with Safety Experience in Energy Industry
3/21/2020
Dear ROI Staffing Representative,
I am respectfully requesting your consideration to potentially fulfill a position as Health Safety & Environmental Specialist within your corporation. For the past five years I have been employed in industrial operations within the Houston Ship Channel region. I have spent four years at ExxonMobil where I gained notable recognition as a valued member of the Fire Brigade and Industrial Rescue Team. Following a job offer at the Calpine, Texas City plant location I moved closer to home and was able to successfully complete my M.S. in Occupational Health and Safety. I am currently looking to employ my education and experience in order to apply myself in an EHS management capacity.
The major strengths I will bring originate within the unique cultures and supervisory positions I have been fortunate to be a part of throughout my career. I am a goal-directed, result-oriented professional with a strong background in organizational leadership and extensive exposure to emergency operations. I am a skilled communicator, persuasive and adaptable. I am self-motivated with high energy, initiative, and focus for the task at hand. I possess a keen insight to the views of others and am able to listen and identify issues or problem areas while forming innovative solutions. Most importantly, I will work safely, diligently, and to the best of my abilities in order to earn the respect and trust of my subordinates as well as my leadership.
I am eager for an opportunity to expand my opportunities as a contributing professional within the ROI family. I would very much welcome the opportunity to interview with your selection team and look forward to hearing from you soon. Thank you for your time and for your consideration.
Sincerely,
Andrew Kohlmeyer
