Senior Travel Consultant
I am currently employed with BCD travel (corporate travel management company) a multinational service centre working for their onshore projects for Siemens,Gulfstream, Schlumberger and 250 corporate clients in Singapore using the global distribution system Sabre, Abacus and Amadeus to cater their travel needs and managing their travel database for their employees around the world.
My duties and responsibilities include booking new reservations for flight, car, and hotel reservations, amendments to existing bookings, re issuing tickets. Advising passengers of Processing Electronic Travel Authorization for Australian visas.
Working on global incident reports by contacting passengers in the event of any calamity situation that might arise. Coordinating with passengers in case of flight cancellations by providing alternate options.
Discuss client requirements and advise on suitable options
Plan, prepare and cost itineraries (travel plans) for clients
Make travel, accommodation and related bookings
Confirm bookings and notify clients of luggage limits and insurance, medical, passport, visa and currency requirements.
Issue tickets for travel, accommodation, car reservation.

Reissuing of Tickets on Amadeus, Abacus and Sabre Red.
