SUMMARY of QUALIFICATIONS

I have over fifteen years of increasing responsibility in the field of non-profit services in Juvenile Justice,Mental Health, Addiction Treatment and Youth and Family Services. Present and past experience working with community and organizations throughout the San Bernardino and Riverside County area, including key leadership, Department of Health and Human Services, Law Enforcement, School Districts, Juvenile Dependency Courts. Actively involved In community policy, assessment and resource development Activities at the State and local level. Experience includes:

Chief Executive Officer: strategic planning, and fiscal management, staff development, developing and managing organizational culture, cultural competency, public relations, marketing, and asset development. Specialized skills in program development, implementation of new programs, staff development, moral and public speaking, legal knowledge of policies and procedures as well as litigation for successful unemployment hearings, fund raising vast experience in nonprofit organizations and programs development.

Mental Health Director 1999-2007: My duties included supervision over 10 clinic sites. I had a staff of 100 including therapists, psychologists, interns and admin. Our services included, substance abuse treatment, mental health services, residential treatment and prevention program in two school districts. I was in charge of almost 2 million dollars in contracts. I am also very experienced in writing grants, and proposals to foundations.

Chief Executive Officer

I am responsible for all aspects of the agency. Court Appointed Special Advocates (CASA) provides volunteer advocates for children who have been placed in foster care because they have been abandoned, abused or neglected. CASA for Riverside County has three sites associated with county Dependency Courts with seven employees and 200 volunteers currently serving over 200 children. My duties include Budgeting, Program Development and Implementation, Fundraising, Major Donor Development, Volunteer Recruitment and Training,Marketing and all operations of the program.

MADD Mothers Against Drunk Driving - 2014-2016

Director for Riverside Chapter. Organized all DUI panels throughout Riverside County. Provided all completed participants paperwork and submitted to each courts. Volunteer recruitment and retention.

Outreach Director

Duties include outreach to local organizations, presentations and development of new prospects. Also, cold calling and attending conferences to network.
