2006-2007: AL-MAKASID HIGH SCHOOL (Beirut), attended 1st, 2nd and 3rd elementary classes with highly experienced teachers.
2007-2008: AL-IMAN SCHOOL (Beirut), attended 1st, 2nd and 3rd elementary classes with two creative teachers.
2008-2009: AL-EEKHAA HIGH SCHOOL (Beirut), attended 2nd and 3rd elementary classes with more than one teacher, each with a different teaching style and performance.
2009-2010: AL-MAHDI HIGH SCHOOL (Beirut), attended 2nd and 3rd elementary classes with three highly experienced teachers.
During my teaching experience, I have increased my skills in classroom management, creative learning, integrating ICT into the classroom, classroom displays, record keeping and parent/teacher relationships.
2013-2020 Gulf English School. I have worked as a Kg teacher. The school follows the EYFS curriculum. My years in GES have been full of challenges and added new experiences to my career. Also, I have been working as the Social Media Coordinator (Part time job) at GES since 2018.
2011-2012 English School for Girls (ESG). During my time teaching kindergarten, the school was being supported by a team of international education consultants from New Zealand. I participated in workshops related to differentiation, effective questioning, student portfolios, writing effective report comments, assessment, managing students with difficult behaviour, teacher appraisal, teacher portfolios and much more. We followed the EYFS Curriculum under the supervision of professional kindergarten and Early Year advisors.
2010-2011 I taught Kg 2 Al Mahdi School. ( Lebanon) Using ‘I Can’ books.
2009-2010 I taught Kg 1 Al Mahdi School. ( Lebanon) Using ‘Houghton Mifflin’ books.
KEY SKILLS AND ACHIEVEMENTS
Languages: Fluent in English and Arabic (both written and spoken).
Problem solving skills, used in my final year individual research project.
Engaged in consistent communication with parents to enhance home-school connection ( Class Dojo application)
Excellent organizational and team working skills, developed through arranging and leading meetings during group research projects in my university.
Computer skills include: Microsoft word, Microsoft PowerPoint, Microsoft Excel, using interactive board.
Attended different workshops, two of them were certified from ALHARIRI HIGH SCHOOL and more than one at ALMAHDI HIGH SCHOOL. ( Lebanon)
Attended many workshops in ESG and GES School. ( Kuwait)
In ESG, I won the Annual Cash Bonus, that was added by % to my Salary, for great teaching efforts during the Year.
Won many classroom competitions in GES (Book Week competition award (2018 and 2019), Best DIY costume (2019), Best Classroom Project for Maths Week (2018).
Was chosen the first Teacher of the Month for EYFS in 2017 by the GES school manager.
Presented 2 CPD’S during my teaching years in GES.
1st CPD about integrating DIY fun games and activities into the classroom.
2nd CPD on how to enjoy teaching Phonics when teaching Jolly Phonics.
