DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Document Controller/Manhour Controller
Issue documents and drawings in a controlled manner, using a database;
Receive incoming documentation and drawings in a controlled manner;
Ensure project drawings and documents are issued in a controlled manner and within agreed time-scales, this includes work pack preparation and issue;
File hard copy and electronic documentation in controlled manner as directed by line manager;
Issue documentation in line with agreed distribution matrices;
Aware of, and comply with all project procedures;
Any other ad-hoc activities as directed.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Work Preparator Foreman
Go through the tender and identify the confirmed jobs
Analyze, measurement and calculation using ships drawing and related plan to get areas midship section, shell expansion, general arrangement also Lloyds formula.
On-board inspection to identify various works to undertake (Hull Treatment, internal surface treatment) of blasting if spot blast or full blast.
Calculate agreed areas with Ships Owner or Representative during drydock identification process.
Doing schedule for various coating works
Prepare drawing/sketch with details the scope of work the confirmed activity and hand over to the foreman/charge hand for work completion
To give area and agreement copy to paint inspector signed by Owner for paint supply
To provide ships sketch for blasting/painting give to Foreman and Supervisor
To check the manhours booking and update the variance report
Monitor, update and report daily progress as per working program to Production Supervisor
Get time to time update of jobs daily
Identifying all additional job, get the paper signed by Owners representative
Preparing a list of all jobs and update daily
Should visit the owners daily and check if everything is okay
Monitoring all the vessels manhour every day and updating in the system for monthly report
Updating all vessels information into the system
Controlling all the vessels documentation for filing
Make programs for the manpower
Lease with the Owner, Ship managers, Commercial department and with other trades
Attend daily production meeting on board the vessel with Ship Manager, Owners rep., and other department.
Manpower allocation
Should give feedback to Supervisors and Senior Preparator regarding meeting on board
Priorities job and plan accordingly
Double check hours booked against given hours and update accordingly with supervisors and commercial department
To call final inspection for all jobs done
To make final acceptance paper and get it signed by Owners Representative DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Hull Treatment Quality Control Checker (basic training for 6 months)
Performing in process inspections and final inspections in hull, deck, tanks, cargo hold etc.
Recording results of such inspections
Ensure paint distribution according to paint suppliers’ instructions
Reject all non-conforming work associated with such inspections
Collecting and collating inspections records into suitable files
To check the chloride on the surface blasted upon Owners requirements
To check the difficult area on surface painted inside the tanks
Preparation and maintaining records of climatic conditions and inspection
Prepare monthly report (activity report/vessels report)
Experience also in Silicon coating from different Paint Company DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Blaster/Painter
Responsible onsite activities of blasting and painting in the hull, deck, tank, cargo hold etc.
Carrying Hull Scraping, High pressure washing, Hydro blasting and power tooling
To make sure the correct standard of blasting if Grit sweep, Sa 1.0, Sa 2.0 and Sa 2.5
Taking paint thickness checking using DFT gauge as per Owner Specification required
Taking all the safety precautions and protective measures required for the work being conducted
