As a Industrial Engineer my responsibilities are to understand the new project, Time Study, Balancing the line, Operator Balance chart, relate Time study and Customer Demand, Execution of ergonomically safe motions, run a trial, First Operator Training, First Article Inspection, analyzing Process Capability Index, preparation of Mechanical Acceptance Report, to run a Pilot, to prepare the CAR report and recommending for mass production involving Standardized documents such as SOP, PPAP, FMEA & Control Plans.

Strong background in Process and Quality Engineering, Continuous process improvement, Cycle time reduction, Line balancing, Manpower handling, quality tools, New 7QC tools, analysing techniques, error proof detection, poka yoke, and Product Developments.

New lean line set up for Aurora 600 VA / 1000 VA UPS Manufacturing which involves Single piece flow, Water spider concept of material kitting, Two bin Rack System of material feeding, Luvores tray for Child component assembly, Arrangement of storage racks based on the Customer demand Vs Internal planning.

New lean line set up for MCB / RCD Automated lines which involves 80 % of complete automatic set ups. Works there for standard work balance chart to compensate the automated machines with manual operation.

Standardizing the documents (FMEA & Standard work, Process capacity table, Standard work balance chart, Operator Balance chart & Time observation Sheet) and worked for Operational Excellence assessment from the Mother plant.

Handled as a Ergonomics Champion for the Pondicherry plant and Erected 2 0.25 T Cranes with two different fixing aspects based on the operator Ergonomics factor

As a Ergonomics Champion Handled the NOISH Standard for the overall plant.
