DESIGN, DEVELOPMENT AND IMPLEMENTATION OF NETWORKED RECONFIGURABLE IN- PIPE ROBOTS FOR INSPECTION AND SCAVENGING APPLICATIONS Technology has helped people at all levels irrespective of their economical and social background. Though the reach of technology is only limited by the delays in implementation, some gray areas are yet to receive the attention of the researchers, like Sanitation workers entering manhole for scavenging tasks. To provide a comprehensive facelift for those ‘silent partners’ who get involved in manual scavenging applications, specifically, the task of humans entering manholes should be thoroughly researched upon. The process of clearing the clogs is a challenging technical problem which gets complicated with all the dangerous gases/chemicals involved. A technological intervention in the form of robots (patentable) and automation solutions are proposed to solve this problem.
1. EFFECT AND ANALYSIS OF NANOPOWDER ON BALLISTIC IMPACT TEST. Adding nanopowders on the polymer to increase the impact strength of the material. These materials are used as a Bullet Proof Vest. Now a day Kevlar is used to a bulletproof vest. Kevlar has a high impact strength, but it doesn’t absorb shock waves. It caused blunt trauma, it affects internal organs. Hence the best material for body armor should have a high level of elastic storage energy that will cause the bullet to bounce off or be deflected. To avoid that introduce CNT to increase energy absorption, it absorbs shock waves. 2. DESIGN OF GANTRY.
We design and manufacture a Gantry greater than 4-ton capacity. Mild steel is the material to create a channel. To weld a two ‘C’ channel. To make a shaft and bearing. To find the strength of a material. To make a Gantry for available material in our college and its capacity up to 4 tons. It can use to lift a machine or object.
