Duties & Responsibilities:

-Procuring and selecting the materials, preparing budget sheet, contacting suppliers, preparing comparison sheets.

-Leading a team of draftsmen and engineers reporting directly to the MEP Project manager to deliver shop drawings for electrical & ELV systems and ensuring its compliance with specifications, codes, and standards.

-Specifying the scope of work, assigning tasks, and preparing plans to get the maximum output within the minimal time frame.

-Communication and Attending meetings with owner representatives, consultants, sub-contractors, Authorities, and other engineers for the continuity of the project.

-Supervising the production of the electrical BIM model (Revit).

-Preparation of single line diagrams, schematics, electrical room layout, and load schedules.

-Performing electrical calculations such as voltage drop calculations, generator sizing, capacitor bank calculations, Load balance, cable trays sizing & routing…etc.

-Preparation of Variation reports.

-Cables estimation and quantities takeoff from shop drawings for material order.

-Writing letters, reports, and raising RFIs & preparing time schedules.

-Following up Project related documentation, obtaining approvals for material submittals and O&M manuals.

Met project’s needs at 18% under budget through negotiation and technical modifications while ensuring the continuation of the projects smoothly.
