WAITER / FOOD RUNNER

Looking for a position of Waiter and or Runner in a company where I can make use of my diverse skills in customer service and office administration in a highly dynamic work environment.

A food runner is responsible for bringing hot food to the diners or patrons at their tables. He/She refills water in glasses and brings additional items to the tables as well. He/She also relays requests for food items to the servers and kitchen staff. A polite, well spoken and hard working waiter with experience of working in a busy restaurant environment looking after the needs of patrons. Attentively at all times with a willing and helpful manner that is required to answer phone calls, taking reservations and prepare bills. Always approachable, cheerful and possessing good observation skills as well as the ability to work alone or as part of a team. Responsibilities

Greet and escort customers to their tables

Present menu and provide detailed information when asked (e.g. about portions, ingredients or potential food allergies)

Prepare tables by setting up linens, silverware and glasses
