Biomedical Engineer with 10 years’ experience, acquired skills in many aspects of Biomedical Engineering such as handling the purchase of the right required equipment, maintaining equipment, preventive maintenance and keeping inventory of medical equipment.

Looking for a suitable position with a reputable organization where I produce a creative work and achieve professionalism in my career, through a continuous learning process and to enrich and utilize my skills in the field of biomedical engineering.

Professional Experience:

Cytomed Middle East Company since 2014- Feb.2017 (Abu Dhabi- UAE):

Responsibilities:

-Prepare quotations and other required documentation.

-Coordinate with service team for installation reposts in the PACT program servicing calls from clients.

-Coordinate with the OP&L Team for sales deliveries and service deliveries.

-Receiving Purchasing Orders of several items to be prepared.

-Follow up with clients regarding pending payments.

-Coordinating with service department for preparing PPM Schedule, Service Report, LPO, Warranty Certificate and manuals for any contracted device or new equipment installation or renewing the contract.

-Follow up with our Government vendors by there websites if there any tenders .

Gulf Diagnostic Centre Hospital, Abu Dhabi, UAE as Biomedical Engineer, since Dec 2013

Responsibilities:

-Experience in purchase planning, receive quotations from several companies, cost determination, purchase of medical equipment materials and delivery on time.

-Updated the inventory of all types of medical equipment installed in the hospital, created new codes for each item and designed Database for Medical Equipment Management in Access 2010

-Checked the expiry dates of each item before it’s entered in the store (quality, quantity and price)

-Handled the Maintenance and troubleshooting of biomedical equipment, and contacting vendors for any breakdown under annual maintenance agreement.

-Handled the Preventive maintenance schedule for medical equipment, including keeping the downtime to minimum and preventing any safety incidents.

-Handled the installation and the testing of the biomedical equipment including guiding clinical users by training clinical staff correct usage of equipment for preventing breakdowns.
