WORK EXPERIENCE AND CAREER SUMMARY.

HSE SUPERVISOR at QATAR AIRWAYS, AUGUST 2017 TILL PRESENT.

Responsible for daily supervision of full health and safety of chemical and material store workers and aircraft cleaners (interior and exterior cleaning) in line operations, A and C check, plus full exterior cleaning in hangar operations, inspecting harness belts,gum boots, bump caps, mobile ladder, full length gloves and reporting discrepancies.

Checking daily welfare, proper manual handling techniques of our staff and helpers, and proper use of PPE in supply chain operation and the various workshops (binning shop, wheels and brakes shop, trim shop, paint shop, avionics shop, engine shop, tool shop, carpet shop, upholstery) at QATAR AIRWAYS DOHA –QATAR.

Ensuring daily PPE utilization in all work areas (full body coveralls for animal cargo cleaning, nose masks, hand gloves, glasses for all passenger flights, ear plugs for exterior cleaners, long sleeve clothing.

Training employees in HSE norms, conducting toolbox talks and team briefings.

Assessing risks, Investigating and reporting site incidents /accidents /near miss (root cause analysis).

Follow up of transport defects / vehicle serviceability and reporting to the responsible.

Carrying out on-site training and induction of new staff and promoting positive safety culture

Liaising with staff on all levels including QATAR AIRWAYS staff and other contractors, proactive, and ensuring general site compliance as per client procedure.

Following up the management of heat stress and cold weather working conditions.

Weekly inspection of first aid box, eye wash bottles and fire extinguishers checking expiry dates, item quantity and ensuring supplies, spotting hazards and managing them.

Generating monthly reports, annual report with HSE officer and preparing audits.

Daily frisking of staff for stolen items from the aircraft at the end of work shift.

SITE SAFETY CO-ORDINATOR AT MERDOLF SARL BUILDING CONSTRUCTION COMPANY FROM 2014 TO 2016(3 YEARS).

Responsible for coordinating and supervising daily site inspection HSE tasks including reporting major and minor site incidents,accidents and near miss.

Reporting workers non compliances to project manager.

Daily inspection of first aid box, ensuring supplies, administering basic first aid, recording injuries and ensuring good general housekeeping on site.

Responsible for inspecting scaffolds and ladders, helmets, wheel barrows in the mornings.
