Educating all people involved in the ship building and ship repair activities on health and safety practices within the work place and off the job safety.
Ensure that regulation to safety and work permits are fully respected.
Performed a visual check in all activities to ensure correctness as per site safety standard and procedure.
Proper utilization of time in maintaining safe and health work environment through routine monitoring.
Co-ordination with various site personnel to ensure communication and necessary actions on HSE issues as necessary.
Conducts safety orientation and re-orientation to employees and contractors with safety procedures and programs to maintain and improve their safety awareness.
Weekly safety joint inspection with contractors and deviation report.
Advice / guide / consult site employees on selection, use, limitations maintenance and storage of personal protective equipment.
Conduct accident investigation, analyze and formulate recommendations for corrective and prevention actions.
Identifies high-risk potential hazard in the work place and advice appropriate to loss control measures.
